The Chargers are seeking a year of redemption. A multitude of failed playoff runs have put pressure on star quarterback Justin Herbert.
“He just cannot seem to get it done in the offseason,” junior Elissa Becker said.
The Los Angeles team has started well, with star receiver duo Ladd McConkey and Keenan Allen proving their worth. Their 4-2 record has earned them first place in a competitive division.
Number Five: Packers

The Packers had an incredible start to their season, with star defensive lineman Micah Parsons arriving in the offseason, and expectations were high for the Cheeseheads.
An early win against an incredible Lions team had people calling for a Super Bowl, but Green Bay has slowed down a bit as the season goes on. A tough loss to the Browns and a disappointing draw to the Cowboys are only evidenced by that.
Despite these challenges, however, the Packers are a more than capable team to advance to the playoffs, and they will only improve as the weeks go by.
Number Four: Colts

The Colts have been an incredible surprise package this NFL season. After putting disgraced former Giants quarterback Daniel Jones as the starter, fans were gearing up for another depressing year in Indianapolis.
They were all proven wrong by their quarterback, who has already thrown eight touchdown passes this year. Lovingly nicknamed “Indiana Jones,” the Colts have certainly made some noise this year, earning them a 5-1 record.
Number Three: Eagles

The Eagles have attempted to maintain their Super Bowl form, and it has worked out… partially. The offense looks slower than last year, with Saquon Barkley not able to get as many carries as last year. However, fans remain hopeful.
“I definitely think we are still contenders,” junior Momchil Yanchev said.
The Philadelphia-based team currently holds a 4-2 record, but with back-to-back losses, they may slip down the rankings.
Number Two: Lions

The Lions seem to be back at it again. Despite losing both of their coordinators going into the season, the team still looks excellent. Star running back duos David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs already have a combined eight touchdowns.
The Lions are finally looking to make a push for the Super Bowl, but face heavy competition from the number one-ranked team.
Number One: Bills

The Buffalo Bills are still the most incredible team in football. Despite losing one game to the Patriots, they still look like a perfect outfit. Star quarterback Josh Allen is once again playing incredibly well, and coming off of an MVP season, the Bills are looking to bring a championship back to Buffalo.
