Mass Tragedy in Las Vegas

A cruel disaster occurred at a country music concert with 22,000 people trying to flee the gunman’s aim. One human was capable of killing 52 people and injuring 527 people with an automatic gun.

The man was identified as Stephen Paddock and was found in a suite on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas after he shot himself. He was 64 years old without a criminal history. Paddock was found in possession of 23 dangerous weapons including a handgun and multiple rifles — some with scopes on them. Authorities also found several pounds of ammonium nitrate, a material used to make explosives, in his car.

No one knows yet what caused Stephen Paddock to inflict such a tragedy on the public. Based on what authorities have found, he may have been planning something even worse. At Paddock’s home in Mesquite, Nevada, police found at least 19 firearms, explosives, several thousand rounds of ammunition, and some electronic devices.

People across the country are scared for their lives. Even teachers in the school, thousands of miles away, have admitted that they are scared for their lives.

People are questioning whether automatic guns are needed to enforce the second amendment. An automatic gun is not a defense mechanism. It is weapon capable of committing massacres and it should not even be produced in the first place.
