On Dec. 8, Kimberly Jones published a video of her son Keaton as he heartbreakingly asks, “Just out of curiosity, why do they bully?” Viewers expressed their condolences after this upsetting video went viral.

Earlier in the day, Keaton had been threatened by five other middle schoolers that he would get beaten up at lunch. Scared of the possibility, he frantically texted his mom, “What do I do here?” and his mother immediately arrived to the school and was asked by her son to record a video. With previous disturbing lunch periods, Keaton describes an unfortunately common scene, “bullies had poured milk on him, shoved ham down his clothes, and threw bread at him.” Despite all this negativity, Keaton emerged from his dire situation with a positive attitude feeling that with the video he, “accomplished something real. Something that could actually change the world.”

With over 18 million views, viewers expressed abundant love towards Keaton. Actor Chris Evans responded with an offer to fly Keaton and his mother to the Avengers premiere next year. Dana White, President of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, offered to fly the pair out to Vegas and to the UFC Headquarters.

Keaton’s sister Lakyn, comments that especially because of the great comfort and support given to Keaton, he has gladly improved.
