Sarah Paulson

The surprise color of the night was pink, and Sarah Paulson definitely showed us why. Sarah Paulson stunned everyone in her hot pink Brandon Maxwell gown. The voluminous gown featured gorgeous diamond details alongs the neck as well as cutouts at the waist. Paulson wore her hair slicked back in a bun along with a simple makeup look brought together by a nude pink lip. Although not nominated for any awards, Paulson’s simplicity was still able to grab the attention of everyone at the event.

Tessa Thompson

With Karl Lagerfeld’s passing, Tessa Thompson definitely honored him by stunning in a Chanel couture gown. The dress took 225 hours to make, and she definitely made it worth it. The strapless black ruched gown featured ruffles at the hips and ankles along with beautiful gold sparkling. Going with a gold aesthetic, Thompson’s dress was accompanied by Chanel fine jewelry, including a 18 karat yellow gold ring, and gold shadow dusted on her eyelids.  

 

Lady Gaga

Even while in all black, Lady Gaga was still able to shine amongst all the other stars. Although Lady Gaga wore multiple dresses throughout the night, this dress was amongst the most beautiful. She first entered the awards wearing this stunning Alexander McQueen gown. The strapless dress was complemented by long and chic black gloves, along with a 128 carat Tiffany yellow diamond necklace, previously worn by Audrey Hepburn. The necklace is said to be worth around 30 million dollars, and Gaga definitely displayed this piece in the most amazing way possible.

 

Gemma Chan

Gemma Chan was just another star who was able to amaze in the color pink, and was definitely one of the reasons that it was the color of the night. Chan came in to the awards wearing this stunning Valentino gown. The dress was accompanied with handy pockets that even allowed Chan to snack on some cookies during the awards. The look was complimented with Bulgari diamonds and emerald earrings, along with a gorgeous ring and bracelet containing more than 25 carats of diamonds.

Kacey Musgraves

Kacey Musgraves was another woman able to to rock the gorgeous pink look. Musgraves never fails to impress anyone with her gorgeous carpet looks. However, she surprised all the carpets spectators as she was unexpected to be amongst one of the best dressed. The singer showed up in a cotton-candy-like dress by Giambattista Valli Couture. Her dress featured dramatic ruffles on the shoulders along with numerous tiers of pink tulle, and was pulled together by a beautiful sparkling silver tie at the waist. Although not nominated for any awards, Musgraves would have definitely won an award for best dressed.
